Here is a brief description of my professional life.  To be clear, this website while it may reference my employer's good works, consists of my own thoughts & opinions.

I have a day job, I server as a Senior Security Advisor to the Chief Security Officer of Cisco, where I focus on intellectual property strategies. In addition to being the senior security advisor, I lead a number of teams within the Corporate Security Programs Office:  the Global Investigate Support team, providing investigative forensic support to the enterprise; the Government Security Office, addressing global national industrial security support and administration; and the Global Threat Analysis team providing geopolitical, economic and security analysis.

Prior to joining Cisco, I was a national security executive for more than 30 years. I lived and worked in South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Europe and Latin America where I acquired a deep understanding of the people, cultures and business practices in these respective areas.
